Telehealth counseling allows you to jump on a therapy session from the convenience of your own home or wherever your busy schedule takes you. One of the perks of doing sessions via telehealth is that everything is at your hands. Grabbing your favorite notebook for some quick notes, or sitting on your cozy couch with cup of coffee.
In a face to face therapy session, we will get a chance to address problems, goals, and work on treatment planning in a therapeutic office setting. Modes of therapy used include: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focus, Motivational interviewing and Person in Environment.
For Individuals who are specifically seeking Christian Counseling expect to look at scripture for guidance in assisting you on your present problem/issues. This will include studying scripture looking at theological books and watching helpful videos together to build and strengthen your faith.
Sometimes walking is what works! For some clients, walking is a form of a therapeutic relief, and should be incorporated into their therapy session. If you prefer Talk and Walk, set up a time with your therapist and start your journey.
Sometimes its lack of motivation and direction that is the problem, and you just need a push. If mental health issues are not a problem, but you desire advice, partnering with a life coach could be the solution!
